CONTINUE DIVING
Certification is where active diving begins.
Practice keeps skills usable. Community keeps divers connected. Continuing education should follow the diving you actually want to do.

PRACTICE
Keep Diving. Keep Practising.
Diving skills improve through practice and deteriorate when they are not used. Knowledge fades, procedures become less automatic and the confidence gained during training can gradually disappear when there are long gaps between dives.
That is why the PELARON continuing-diver model includes regular club pool dives for certified divers.
Where offered by a regional operation, these sessions take place under the supervision of a PADI dive professional and can support certified divers of different experience levels. Skills and exercises are selected according to certification, experience and current ability, with the objective of keeping the sessions useful, challenging, enjoyable and safe.
You may work on buoyancy, trim, propulsion, equipment handling, emergency procedures or other practical diving skills appropriate to your level.
There is no pressure to collect another certification. Sometimes the best way to become a better diver is simply to dive, practise and refine the skills you already have.
COMMUNITY
More Than Skills: Join the Diving Community
Regular diving builds confidence and experience, but it also connects you with other divers.
PELARON club dives are intended to provide an informal environment where divers can meet, practise together and exchange experience. Every diver brings something different to the community, whether that is knowledge of a particular dive site, experience with equipment, lessons learned during previous dives or ideas for future adventures.
Dive-site information, equipment tips, training opportunities, upcoming diving activities and expeditions naturally become part of the conversation.
The result is more than a training session. It is an opportunity to remain active in diving and become part of a community in which divers learn from one another.
CONTINUED EDUCATION
Continuing Your Diving Education
The PADI Open Water Diver certification is the beginning of your development as a diver, not the end of it.
It gives you a foundation on which additional experience, knowledge and specialised skills can be built. As you gain experience, you may want to dive deeper, improve your buoyancy, explore wrecks, use different equipment configurations, become more self-reliant or develop skills for more demanding diving environments.
There are many possible directions, and there is no reason to collect certifications simply because they exist.
We therefore start by listening.
We discuss the kind of diving you enjoy, the experience you already have and where you would like your diving to take you. From there, we can help you build a logical training and experience pathway within the PADI certification system.
For newer divers, that may mean strengthening fundamental skills before progressing further. For experienced recreational divers, it may mean specialist or advanced training.
And for divers whose ambitions eventually extend beyond the recreational diving envelope, technical and other advanced training pathways can form the next stage of their development.
The objective is always the same: the right training, at the right time, for the diving you actually want to do.
These are possible directions, not an automatic progression or a reason to collect certifications without purpose.
