Project Crimson Wolffish v0.1 does not require a remote PELARON account for normal operation. Core Dive records remain on the device and browser where they are created unless the user deliberately exports them.

That keeps the first version deliberately simple: fewer unnecessary accounts, fewer unnecessary identifiers and no requirement to transmit a personal dive history simply to maintain a logbook.

Device and browser security form the primary local access boundary in version 0.1. Local browser storage is not represented as application-level encryption.

MADE FOR WHERE DIVING HAPPENS

The internet should not be a prerequisite for writing down a dive.

Dive sites, boats, training locations and travel do not always come with a reliable connection. Once the application shell has been prepared successfully, Project Crimson Wolffish keeps its core logbook useful without depending on continuous network access.

The application should feel at home on a diver’s own device, whether the next dive is close to home or far beyond normal connectivity.

PROGRESSIVE WEB APP

An app without an app-store dependency.

Project Crimson Wolffish is delivered as a Progressive Web App. You can use it in an ordinary modern browser tab and, where the browser and operating system support it, add it to your device for an app-like experience.

Installation is optional. No app-store account or Project Crimson Wolffish account is required. Installation behaviour varies by browser and operating system.

PART OF PELARON

Training creates experience. Project Crimson Wolffish helps you keep it.

PELARON approaches diver development as something that continues beyond individual courses. Project Crimson Wolffish extends that principle into the diver’s personal records: one place to document the dives, experience and progression that accumulate over time.

You do not need to train with PELARON to use Project Crimson Wolffish. It is intended as a practical tool for divers.
